Goju Ryu Okinawa Karate-Doh Jundokan South African Honbu Dojo

(Affiliated to the Jundokan SoHonbu Dojo in Okinawa, Japan)

After almost 20 Bechet Dojo March 2008years at the historic Emmanual Cathedral Parish Centre in downtown Durban, the Southern Africa Jundokan Hombu Dojo has relocated to the lovely Bechet High School Hall in Sydenham, Durban.  Sydenham is a residential suburb about 5 kilometres from the 'old' Cathedral Dojo in the heart of the Durban City Centre. The dojo itself is located in the hall of Bechet High School in Barns Road, Sydenham (see photo on the left).  The entire dojo floor sits on a wooden-sprung floor, typical of an Okinawan dojo and has excellent ventilation with an adjacent football field to train outdoors as well..

Our Goju Ryu Karate-Doh classes are held on Saturdays mornings for Children/Youth and on Tuesday and Thursdays evenings for Teenagers and Adults.

The South Africa Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate-Doh Jundokan is the ONLY official representative, in Southern Africa, of the Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate-Do So Hombu in Okinawa, Japan.
